Course With Me! “Yielding To Yielding”
Think about what you invest in. Food, fun, events, games, clothes, jewelry, hair, or any of your hobbies, and pleasures. Does it contribute to where you want to go? Does it align with what you want in life? Some reason we often think that where we want to go and what we want in life will just happen without investing into it. You may want to drive several miles to that desired location, but if you don’t put gas in the vehicle; even if it’s with your last bit of dollars, it won’t get you there on empty. “Purchase The Field”!. That’s what I clearly heard one day in my spirit.
I was given the promises, dreams, prophecies, and vision for my family, ministry, to my region, the nations, and for the resources, but my experience has not been a consistent flow into what God had promised me. So as I reflected on what God was telling me concerning “Purchase The Field”, I knew I had to make an invested exchange and commitment to what I was trusting Him for.
Then today, I began to reflect on a phrase that has been coming to me for a couple years now. I finally took the time to look deeper into it. Here it is; “Yielding To Yielding”. What does that mean and how does that tie into “Purchase The Field” and all that I have been sharing on this journey you’ve been invited to join me on? This has to do with one of the natural laws that God set in place as a gift to us humans from the beginning of creation to bring forth multiplication for “YOU AND I” and to the rest of the creatures. This is Kingdom, and too many Christians sadly haven’t even begun to scratch the surface of this crucial revelation.
Genesis 1:29-31
New King James Version
“29 And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food. 30 Also, to every beast of the earth, to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is [a]life, I have given every green herb for food”; and it was so. 31 Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.”
Unfortunately, but very very fortunately this law of “Yielding To Yielding” has to due with a necessary process. It’s a continuation of giving and taking, receiving and reproducing, sowing and reaping, yielding, bearing, and yielding again. This is how a harvest is consistently guaranteed. Why unfortunately? I say unfortunately, because many of our experiences have been shaped by the “Fall” that was responsible for the poverty curse of “painful labor, toil, sweat”, which produced in the earth other half truth teachings and traditions of bondage that don’t line up with what God intended for His prize creation.
Why fortunately? I say fortunately because, the Father revealed His heart of restoration to us concerning “Yielding To Yielding” through the second Adam, His Son Jesus Christ. Praise God friends, this law has not been lost to the curse of poverty, but kept through the demonstration of the mercy of God. Listen to Jesus:
John 12:24

“24 Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much [a]grain.”
This is most wonderful ( I just love Him)! This to me is the greatest example of “Purchasing The Field” and of the law of “Yielding To Yielding”. So when I heard “Purchase The Field” (Matthew 13:44-48), I knew I had to yield to the process which met I had to take a risk. That means my faith required something called action (James 2:14-26). So, here is the problem we face. We can have faith and believe things will just happen, or we can have faith and take wrong actions. I have done both. I’ve also been painfully trained very well by both. Can you relate?
However, working your faith is a risk that pays off if you commit yourself to the Word, The Spirit, and the Right systems that God has set in place for you. That’s what I did in response to “Purchase The Field”. I invested more in faith than I had in my possession in the physical, and trust me I have experienced every bit of the process (spiritually, emotionally, mentally, …). For the sake of multiplication, I’ve begun to learn what is seed and what is food, and what is yielding to be released by me, and what is yielding to be released to me, Amen!
This is what saddens me about the process. I know that it was not in God’s plan for us to be enslaved to the struggles that we experience. Even sadder; It’s not God’s will for us to continue to embrace the struggle that His Son paid for; but many of our poverty mindsets tell us differently. A lot of what we preach we don’t truly practice, and what we don’t practice, we don’t believe. Whatever order the previous statement falls in, that fact is that there is not enough living proof of the scriptures in our midst.
I really say this with a frustrated passion, because I’ve seen too many well meaning children of God who have been called to bless as a blessing, but have spent most of their ministry and life begging like beggars. Yet we command the tithe and our teaching never demonstrates the release from poverty in the midst of our families and congregtions. Enough is enough! We have to stop and evaluate the way we are teaching people to sow, or we all remain beggars.
Why no multiplication? Even though we desire to do the right thing, like to be a blessing, doesn’t make it happen. We have to learn to yield into the right things so that all of us experience the multiplication to do the greater right things as very “blessed givers and builders” (it’s a covenant, ask Abraham and follow his journey). To quickly get my point and experience across to you the following is a list of “Rights” that I had to get my “faith act” together with. I stepped out and sown into my destination and will not be denied, in Jesus Name!
